We are fortunate in Saskatchewan to have provincial funding agencies that help distribute funding to groups supporting cultural groups at local, regional and provincial levels. Funding agencies, much like corporate sponsors or donors, have an expectation that their investments will be recognized by beneficiaries.
This is especially important for Saskatchewan Lotteries. Recognition of the Saskatchewan Lotteries helps to build awareness of the contributions this fundraiser makes back to the community.
Saskatchewan Lotteries proceeds go to support over 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups in Saskatchewan. Groups receiving support from Saskatchewan Lotteries are required to promote Saskatchewan Lotteries at their events and in their publications.

SaskCulture is Trustee for the Culture Section of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation. To help promote awareness of SaskCulture’s work to build a culturally vibrant Saskatchewan through fund distribution and organizational development, groups are encouraged to recognize SaskCulture and ensure their community is aware of the organization and its role. There are also a few ways groups can highlight Culture Builds Community!
