Our Programs and Services

Through funding from the Culture Section of Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation, SaskCulture is able to offer provide a range of programs and services designed to nurture the growth of cultural activities in this province. 

We focus our efforts on providing opportunities for organization development, cultural networking, advocacy and awareness, funding for culture and partnerships.

Organizational Development 

We are committed to strengthening the cultural community by assisting cultural organizations and cultural workers in providing quality cultural opportunities to the people of Saskatchewan.  Various resources are available and workshops are held throughout the year.

Cultural Networking

We nurture a growing network of individuals and organizations interested in sharing, discussing and obtaining information on cultural development in Saskatchewan and beyond.

Advocacy and Awareness

A voice for culture in the province, SaskCulture works to bring issues of concern in the cultural community to the attention of government and other key decision-makers, as well as responding to emerging issues on behalf of the cultural community as a whole.  Find out how Culture Builds Community!

Social Development

Over the past five years, SaskCulture has been working with community partners to develop a program that enables children and youth facing social and financial barriers access to cultural activities in their community.  Creative Kids will be officially launched in 2010.

Funding

As Trustee for the Culture Section of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for sport, Culture and Recreation, SaskCulture provides funding to support cultural activities through the province. We offer a wide range of funding opportunities.

Partnership Programs

We work with a variety of community partners to develop programs that support community-based cultural activity in Saskatchewan.  The community benefits from SaskCulture’s key partnerships with Sask Sport, Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association, Tourism Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Arts Board, Red Cross and the Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport.
